Oly's New Digs

Less than a month ago, on the morning of July 20th, officials of the Pennsylvania State government and Olympus officials from the U.S. and Tokyo convened to dedicate the new 337,400 square-foot headquarters of Olympus America in Center Valley, a town in Eastern Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley region. The new facility will employ 600 people and is designed to accommodate up to 1,000 workers, which equates to projected corporate growth for seven years. Pennsylvania gave Olympus "tens of millions" of dollars of tax incentives to make the relocation. The silver-metal and glass structure was designed by EwingCole of Philadelphia and construction was supervised by Alvin H. Butz Inc. of Allentown.

Good luck to Oly in its new digs!
